About the Role
Our client NET Modular was established locally over 30 years ago and is at the cutting edge of innovation for the manufacture of transportable modular buildings for the education sector. As a Boilermaker or 2nd Class Welder, you will play a crucial role in the fabrication process, ensuring the production of top-notch metal products. The ideal candidate will have strong welding skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
This position offers a unique 4-day work week schedule, providing a balanced work-life routine.
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality welding and fabrication work according to specifications and blueprints
- Operate and maintain welding equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency
- Conduct inspections of completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to achieve project goals
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations, promoting a secure work environment
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Boilermaker/2nd Class Welder in a similar role
- Proficient in various welding techniques and processes (MIG, TIG, Stick)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and precision in work
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Relevant certifications and licenses
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols
