We are currently on a growth path within our group and are after our latest team members to join Knox Mitsubishi – our Mitsubishi dealership based in Wantirna South.
Who do we need?
We are looking to employ 3 Service personnel, a Motor VehicleService Technician, Road Worthy Certificate Technician and Tyre Fitter/ Wheel Alignment Specialist, to join our busy Mitsubishi workshop.
These are Full-Time positions working Monday to Friday.
The perfect candidates will be highly motivated, enthusiastic and responsible and display the following skills -
For the Motor VehicleService Technician and Road Worthy Certificate Technician -
- Fully Qualified Certificate III in Mechanical Technology - Light Vehicle.
- Able to perform Roadworthy Certifications under the LVT System to a High standard.
- Liaise with Workshop Controller, Used Vehicle Reconditioning Leading Hand and used Vehicle Sales Team.
- Air Conditioning Licence a distinct advantage.
- Have previous experience in this or a similar role.
- Have the capacity to problem solve issues and find suitable resolutions.
- Provide your expert advice and report potentially dangerous risks to our customers vehicles.
- Safely operate hoists and other equipment.
- Conduct road tests as required.
For the Tyre Fitter / Wheel Alignment Specialist
- Able to identify faults in vehicle stability and tyre wear.
- Experience with fitting, balancing, repairing and servicing tyres.
- Provide your expert advise and report potential dangerous risks to our Customers vehicles.
- Safely operate hoists and other equipment.
- Conduct road tests as required.
The Successful candidates will display the following attributes:
- Have previous experience in these or similar roles.
- Have a genuine interest in the automotive industry and a keen willingness to learn.
- Be mature and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Hold a current Drivers Licence with the ability to drive Manual Vehicles.
- Have knowledge of and compliance with Occupational Health and Safety practices, with a diligent focus on safety in the workplace.
- Conscientious and adaptable with a customer-centric approach.
- Able to work comfortably within established procedures.
- Have the ability to work unsupervised and be a part of a larger team contributing to a positive work environment.
- Take pride in your workmanship with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
- Have the capacity to problem solve issues and find suitable resolutions.
- Be committed to working to meet or better targets and standards.
