ABOUT THE ROLE
The Assertive Outreach program is a collective approach to improving homelessness. Our support team take a hands-on approach, working on the ground with those experiencing homelessness in the community. We build strong relationships founded on support and encouragement, equipping our clients to progress into long-term stable housing.
This is a fixed term full time role to March 2025 with the possibility of extension.

Your focus is on providing a quality person-centred service, delivered with respect and integrity, with a high standard of client service. You have the ability to continuously improve service delivery while taking a leading role in achieving the organisations objectives under a new operating model.

- Qualification in Community Services or other related field at Cert IV minimum.
- Current unencumbered Driver’s Licence
- Evidence of full COVID19 vaccination
- Significant experience in an associated field
- Understanding and experience of working with Aboriginal people and their communities.
- Demonstrated experience in case planning and coordination of people with complex support needs and within marginalised communities.
- Understanding of, and demonstrated ability to work with Human Service Agencies.
- Demonstrated experience and or understanding of Trauma Informed Care.
