About this opportunity
You will complete a Certificate III in Plumbing through a combination of formal training with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and practical on-the-job experience with your Host Employer.
Throughout your formal training and practical experience in the workplace, you will have the opportunity to:
- Install water services and sewers
- Look after water mains & service connections.
- Resolve sewage blockages and deal with water services on residential properties.
- Install pressure sewer pods, perform restorations, and work in reservoirs.
- Work with qualified tradesmen to complete business operations.
- Maintain sewer pump stations, excavate, mow, and drive trucks (MR licence preferred or willing to gain)
The successful applicant
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following capabilities and knowledge:
- Demonstrated interest and passion for the industry.
- Currently completed at least 2nd year level of apprenticeship (transcript or proof of course progress will be requested during recruitment stages)
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop new skills and knowledge.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
- Ability to work in a team environment and positively contribute to team goals.
- Ability to undertake a Standard Medical including Audiometry, Spirometry, functional and a drug and alcohol screen.
- Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Evidence of vaccinations being up to date for Hep A & B and Tetanus
- Willingness to take on call jobs

- WHS Construction White Card
- Current Working at Heights
