The Role
As MTR Electrical Solutions continues to grow and expand we are seeking a new A-Grade Qualified Electrician to join the team. Multiple roles are available. This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody who has an eye for detail with the ability to perform work to the highest standard. As a Qualified A-Grade Electrician, you will be a Leading Hand who runs a portfolio of your own jobs under the supervision of our Leading Hand Supervisor. You will be a part of a fun work culture with an enjoyable working environment. Ideally, you will have a keen interest or looking to grow your knowledge in the home automation and security fields.
The role will include but not limited to working on a variety of jobs inclusive of:
- New high-end, custom residential homes
- Renovations
- Home Automation
- AV Systems
- Security & CCTV Systems
Ideally, the successful candidate will be self motivated and have the attributes listed below:
- Enjoy what they do with a positive attitude
- Strong attention to detail with problem solving skills
- Initiative and confidence to tackle a task
- Effective listening skills and ability to take clear instructions
- Has the ability to take onboard and implement constructive feedback
- Time management skills

- $40 - $45 per hour + super (negotiable salary based on experience)

MTR Electrical Solutions was founded in 2011 and our office is based in Chelsea Heights 3196. We specialise in high end domestic construction and home automation in Melbourne's South Eastern suburbs. Due to continued growth and excelling in our industry, we are now after an A-Grade Electrician to help us continue to move forward and grow. We believe in building our team from within and provide career paths for the right people within our business.
Prerequisites
To be considered for an interview, you must have:
- Current A Grade Licence
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Construction Induction Card Red/White
- Previous experience with Home Automation will be an advantage but not a necessity
