Eden Ritchie is seeking an A04 Business Support Officer to deliver timely and effective administrative and project support to Engineering & Technology Business Units. Working with the Business Support network you will contribute to the review of a comprehensive range of Business Support services to promote short and long term organisational effectiveness in an environment of continuous change and development.

As the Business Support Officer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Provide accurate and effective business specific administrative support services relating to Financial Management, Procurement, Human Resources, Technical Publications, Project Management, Document Management and other functions as required.
- Assisting the Senior Business Officer by supporting procurement related activities including: preparation of procurement documentation such as requests for quote, standing offer arrangements, amongst others. Liaising with external parties and assisting with tender processes in alignment with the departmental procurement business and governance framework.
- Develop, implement and maintain financial systems, processes and local practices to assist financial data collection, estimation and tracking using software packages, for example, spreadsheets, databases and software packages including 3PCM and SAP.
- Assist and provide advice to leaders and relevant staff on financial management, accounting processes and procurement to ensure compliance with corporate governance obligations, standards, legislation and policies, report on non-compliance and implement, monitor, and report on rectification measures.
- Use initiative and resourcefulness to prioritise work and deliver effective results within agreed timeframes, with minimum supervision, and coach other staff in the Business Support area.
- Support the Senior Advisor (Business Operations) delivering elements of identified projects which contribute to the continuous improvement of standard operating procedures to ensure consistency across Engineering & Technology and its administrative functions.
Requirements of the role:
- Previous experience in financial administration and procurement support will be highly regarded.
- High proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, etc) will be well regarded.
