It has been Queensland Government's builder for over 160 years, playing an important role in communities across the state by building and maintaining government-owned assets such as schools, social housing, police stations and correctional and health facilities.About the roleYou will play a pivotal role in supporting QBuild's ambition to strengthen Queensland's building and construction industry by providing exceptional administrative support.Duties and skills involved:
- Provide efficient and high standards of customer service to QBuild customers.
- Undertaking travel bookings including flights, accommodation, charters, ferries and car hire within required time frames.
- Effectively monitor and manage internal and external correspondence, incoming and outgoing telephone calls and ensure responses are provided within required time frames.
- Willingness to work within a fast-paced environment with KPI's and mechanisms to measure and monitor performance.
- Ability to connect with industry, local suppliers and internal and external stakeholders to ensure the timely and effective delivery of services.
- Demonstrate professionalism and be a positive contributor to a great team and culture while being prepared to perform recurring work.
- Be dedicated to customer satisfaction, and within boundaries, develop an outcome which achieves both customer and business objectives.
- Ensure high standards and accuracy when compiling documents and reports or updating records and information systems (i.e. in Ellipse and Microsoft Office).
- Demonstrate initiative and be a team player by appropriately handling enquiries to senior staff in their absence within expected timeframes.
- Develop and maintain procedures, manuals and registers while being a contributor to improving existing procedures.
