About You:

About the Role:

An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Aboriginal Administration Officer within the Aboriginal Health Division.

The Administration Services Officer is responsible for the provision of a comprehensive and confidential administrative and reception service for the Aboriginal Health Division, with responsibilities in; 

  • Administrative Support Services.
  • Provision of Customer Service.
  • Information Management and Record Keeping.
  • Service Development.
  • Quality Improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability in Cultural Awareness and sensitivity when working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Clients.
  • Experience working within a community health service, community setting or human service organisation.
  • Understanding of the Australian National Safety & Quality Health Service Standards.

Desirable: 

  • Experience using Patient Data Information Systems, particularly Best Practice.

Immunisation Risk for this position is – Category B (indirect contact with blood or body substances)

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
