The HR Support Officer is a valuable member of the HR team within the People and Culture Division.
The HR Support Officer contributes to providing support to the HR function by issuing accurate and practical assistance to managers/employees on operational issues relating to HR policies and procedures, SA Public Sector guidelines and other conditions of employment.
The role has a particular focus on coordinating recruitment, employment screening, and general HR administration. The HR Support Officer works under general direction, exercises initiative and judgement and models People and Culture best practice within the CAA. The role will also contribute to the development and implementation of processes and initiatives.
The role also provides executive support to the Director People and Culture which includes diary management, identifying items for meetings and drafting Minutes and Action Items.
People and Culture is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our motivated and collaborative team. Previous experience working within a HR team would be highly regarded. Consideration would be given to part time job share arrangement.

Special Conditions:
- This is a long term contract for 12 months with the possibility of extension.
- Appointment is under the Courts Administration Act 1993. Terms and Conditions of employment are governed by the Public Sector Act 2009.
- Appointment is dependent upon a current National Police Certificate that the CAA finds satisfactory.
- As a justice agency, the CAA may receive details of spent convictions as part of any Criminal History Screening and use this information in the selection process.
- Appointees may be required to disclose their COVID-19 vaccination status.

ASO3 (salary range: $66,590 - $70,968 per annum)
