This Australian owned business with rapid growth and exciting upcoming projects and work! Located in beautiful sunny Townsville, due to the expansion of the business they are looking to hire an experienced Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Mechanic to join the team!
About the role
Coming from an experienced AC / Refrigeration background, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow on the job in this role as it is in a niche market. The work is varied and will involve both on-site and in-house servicing. This opportunity has you dealing with all service, repairs and maintenance requirements and par-take in regular overtime and adhere to strong work health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to;
- Equipment fixing, servicing, repairing
- You will be responsible for the necessary servicing and repairing of air conditioners and refrigeration systems
- Documenting all repairing including parts usage
- The ability to work well within a team and autonomously
- Working to tight deadlines to complete projects
Skills & experience
- Excellent HVAC problem-solving, diagnosing, and repairing abilities (or willingness to learn)
- 5+ Years working as an AC / Refrigereation Mechanic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and time management skills
- Possession of a driver's license, ARC license, and Blue card.
