Accomodation Manager/Management Team

We are looking for a driven, well versed Accommodation Manager/ Management Team to take our freshly renovated accommodation division to the next level! Here at Romano's Hotel we are more than just a pub, we offer 45 well appointed hotel rooms & suites, a busy Functions/Events department comprising of 7 function spaces, bars, restaurant and gaming facilities right in the heart of Wagga Wagga.
This role is unique in nature as we look to build brand awareness and establish key relationships with stakeholders that will support our success and longevity. The management of the Accomodation division will encompass day to day operations, reception duties, room sales and booking management, supervision of Housekeeping and Property Maintenance, on-call night duties, strong guest services, identifying and implementing key performance indicators, boost sales and control costs to achieve budgeted profits.
Role Responsibilities
- Managing the day-to-day reception and welcoming each guest with a focus on excellent customer service
- Liasing with guests prior, during and after their stay to ensure a memorable stay, and making sure that enquires are dealt with in a timely manner.
- Ensure rooms and grounds are always presentable and light maintenance conducted
- Stakeholder engagement, looking for opportunities to promote our accommodation offerings within the wider community.
- General administration such as answering telephones, handling incoming and outgoing mail, filing ect.
- Management of Housekeeping Team to ensure property is clean and adequate linen is available.
- Drive sales to meet occupancy and revenue targets
- Manage expenses, controlling and meeting budgets
Experience & Skills
- 2-5 years' experience in Motel/Hotel Operations, or extensive experience in other roles or industries that are relevant to this role.
- Experience in driving sales and establishing key stakeholder relationships.
- High Level of professionalism and guest services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic understanding of marketing and social media platforms
- Attention to detail and high expectations of cleanliness
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to analyse and interpret financial reports

- $100,000.00- $140,000.00 + bonuses
