Role Overview
This hybrid role will see you working across the Marketforce Communications and Local Government teams.
This is the ideal role for a graduate or someone looking to get a start in the advertising industry.
An Account Coordinator coordinates the day-to-day activities of the Agency on behalf of a client. You will be responsible for the preparation of internal briefs and the timely completion of jobs. Under the direction of the wider account service team, you are also expected to present and gain approval for work created and produced by the Agency.
Your primary focus is to support the account service teams across their key clients whilst managing your own dedicated local government client database. From time to time you may have the opportunity to work with other parts of the agency as workload and resource allocation requires.
What will a day in the role look like:
• You will work closely with your assigned local government client base and manage their day-to-day advertising and media needs.
• In collaboration with the account service team, you will gather client input to prepare briefs for the agency to undertake work.
• Maintain control over all internal activity on projects within a given group of clients. This includes the writing of contact reports/status reports, job orders and estimates/quotations.
• Liaising with clients to manage their expectations and concerns.
What will you need:
• Proven ability to juggle multiple jobs whilst maintaining high level of attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• An understanding of adobe creative suite including Indesign is desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills as a team player.
• The ability to thrive in a busy environment and prioritise work effectively.
• Possess solid communication and presentation skills.
• A can-do attitude and initiative.
• A passion for creativity and doing great work.
