Due to sustained growth and an ambition to continue to expand our Commercial sector, an opportunity has been created for an experienced Account Executive to seek out new opportunities in the Queensland Commercial market.
Reporting to the Queensland State Manager, you will be an integral part of our continued growth in the state. Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across key commercial customers.
- Establishing strategic relationships with key business partners.
- Identifying potential new revenue streams and developing appropriate strategies to capture these opportunities.
- Working with both the Queensland and Commercial Account Executive teams to develop strategic plans for both the state, and the commercial category nationally.
- Assisting the local commercial team by providing support and service to A.H. Beard’s existing commercial customer base.
- Garnering and communicating market intelligence to keep our business informed about current trends and opportunities.

You will need to be capable, confident and experienced at identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, as well as working with an existing customer base.
You can attract the attention of the key decision makers through your effective communication style, both written and oral, and ability to easily build and maintain effective working relationships.
You must be willing to engage in some travel around the state, extending into northern NSW as needed. Experience dealing with the accommodation sector will be very highly regarded.
