About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an Account exec to grow their career with Pental and DuluxGroup. This role will report into the NAM -Metcash, Costco and Key independent Groups account to assist in delivering & executing the sales, profit and growth plans for the Pental business.
Qualifications & experience
• 2+ years Sales/Administration experience working with FMCG retailers – preferably Metcash/Independent Retail
• Experienced user of financial/ forecasting/reporting systems
• Experience with scan data e.g. Circana
• Knowledge of PROMAX
• Knowledge of Cleaning Products is an advantage
Key responsibilities include:
- End to end account management of assigned Independent Retail MSO/s – secure NPD ranging, develop promotional plans etc
- Management of third-party merchandiser - development and regular review of KPI’s for distribution & displays, provision of category/brand performance updates and supporting the team with sales drivers and monthly priorities.
- Use data analysis to identify category opportunities and report on promotional effectiveness.
- Manage and update customer-based systems i.e. promo portals, promotional submissions, range and pricing management.
- Liaise with Pental Marketing team to develop trade presenters, catalogue artwork etc.
- Maintain customer forecasting and promotional accrual management in Promax and other internal systems.
- Cross functional engagement – Sales, marketing, customer service, supply chain, finance.
- Claims management
- Assist the NAM with Costco promotional plans, accrual management and forecasting.
