About the Role
The business is undergoing significant growth and therefore we are looking for an enthusiastic, driven and self-motivated Account Manager, based at our Smithfield locationor from a home office if based in a regional area.
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, this is a key role with an overall focus on increasing sales and market share sustainably across our existing customer portfolio and developing new business in the Sydney Metro/Wollongong/South Coast and Southern Highlands regions. Duties of the role will include:
- Achieving sales budgets using your demonstrable sales skills
- Ability to understand what your customers need and matching that with the right solution and service offering
- Developing and implementing growth strategies that are targeted to your customer base
- Targeting new business
- Establishing and presenting company programs that add value and provide tangible results
- Delivering customer service and insights that set the industry benchmark

This position will suit an experienced sales professional who can work within a fast paced environment and who possesses the ability to engage and work within a diverse team.
To really hit the ground running in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated sales experience in either an account management or business development role
- Have the ability to see the bigger picture, with a knack for quickly being able to gather insight and really visualise what your customers need (sometimes before even they see it) and offer or develop the solutions to get them there.
- Be a relationship builder, someone who is hands on and easily able to establish meaningful connections with customers and colleagues
- Knowledge of the tyre or automotive industries would be preferred, however sales or business development skills are the key
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- The ability to work independently and autonomously with minimal supervision
- Valid open drivers’ licence
