As the Accounts Payable Manager, you will become part of a dynamic team dedicated to excellence, collaboration, and making a positive impact on the world.
The Role and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Accounts Payable Manager will lead a team of Accounts Payable Officers and Senior Accounts Payable Officers, ensuring timely payments of vendor invoices and employee credit cards.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Completing month-end processing within agreed time frames;
- Manage the day-to-day flow of work in the Accounts Payable Team;
- Manage the team towards the delivery of efficient business services;
- Be part of the financial controlling leadership team working collaboratively across Finance to model effective working relationships;
- Collaborate closely with the Management Accounting team to process period-end Journals, particularly those related to Accruals and Expenses;
- Initiate process improvements to improve service delivery to the business; and
- General ad-hoc duties as required.
The Successful Candidate
Within the context of the role described, the ideal applicant will be someone who has the following expertise:
- Proven experience in an Accounts Payable Manager role;
- Demonstrated experience in supervising teams and workflow delegation;
- Experience in analysing data and identifying areas for improvement in the Accounts Payable area;
- Strong leadership and management skills;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills;
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills; and
- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 is advantageous.
