About the role:
We currently have a vacancy for an experienced Account Manager as a member of the Customer Service team in Adelaide (Torrensville). In this role you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end relationships of the allocated account set ensuring Service Level achievement together with high levels of client satisfaction. The role also involves identifying new business opportunities through the sale of current FBDMS Group products to achieve budgeted revenue for the allocated account set.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as key point of contact between allocated clients and the business
- Ensure all job requirements for the branch, both regular and ad hoc, are entered on the job control systems in a timely and accurate manner. Liaise with operational areas to ensure production aligns with client SLA’s and escalate any issues to the Customer Service Manager
- Manage relationships with all levels of key personnel within the account set and other designated accounts as required.
- Communicate proactively with clients about work in progress and anticipated work to ensure client satisfaction, take job briefs and prepare internal processing documentation.
- Maintain Account Plans for designated accounts and report monthly on progress against targets.
- Prepare and present all required client reporting.
- Manage stock inventories on behalf of the client.
- Accurately process draft and final invoices and manage timely payment.
- Identify opportunities and assist the Sales Manager SA where required with programs for cross selling within existing accounts.
- Coordinates the implementation of new business secured in conjunction with the Sales Manager.
- Accept responsibility for work in progress and client relations.
- Provide administrative and technical support in the event of dispute.
- Other duties as assigned from time to time by Sales Manager or Site Manager.
Key Skills:
- Demonstrated key relationship building skills with all levels of the client’s organisation.
- Ability to identify, analyse and promote products and services.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with intermediate PC skills (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Ability to cope well under pressure/stress. Takes accountability for individual actions and maintains a positive outlook at all times.
- Good time management skills and ability to prioritise.
- Punctual and reliable
- High level of attention to detail
- Understanding of Quality systems and ability to promote and adhere to procedures
Qualifications and Typical Experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or similar would be well regarded.
- Previous Account Management/Sales experience in a similar role desirable
- Experience in Print, Mailing or Advertising highly regarded.
