With a culture described as highly loyal, passionate, committed and focused, the Guild is looking for a Senior Manager to assist grow and continue to service the members and their community through delivering a high-quality payroll bureau service to pharmacies. This service is also be offered to the wider market and would involve further developing its payroll service nationally.
About the Opportunity:
As part of strong national network and a team in SA of 7, this position will lead the business development and operations of the Guild’s Payroll Bureau Service which they have been running for 13+ years.
With a current client base of over 280 pharmacies across the country, and delivering over 5000 payslips to employees each fortnight through their service, they are looking for a new senior leadership member to join the team and grow the business to meet its growth targets.
This position does not need to be a payroll expert (however knowledge of payroll processes and requirements would be highly regarded) but does need to have a core business development strength and be able to effectively lead the small team.
Key Responsibility Areas:
Management of Stakeholders
- Lead, manage, inspire and grow the team
- Ensure high level of user satisfaction and ongoing improvements made where required
- Management of 3rd party contractors supporting payroll delivery and technology
- Regular reporting as required
- Continually contribute as a senior member of the leadership team
- Lead the sales and business development across Australia liaising closely with the National Guild Structure to continue to grow the business
- Lead the marketing plan for the promotion of services
- Represent the company at trade shows
- Assist lead the generation of collateral and promotional material
- Develop and nurture strong connections and relationships with members and community pharmacists
- Convert existing members and community pharmacists to payroll bureau services
- Communicate new services and assist with queries regarding integration
- Ensure effective delivery of services, solutions and performance as required
- Assist streamline processes where required
- Team leadership and communication to ensure meeting KPI’s and legal requirements
- Team development
- At least 3 years prior experience in a Senior Business development position and exposure to leading a small team and business operations for a category/area or business.
- Prior experience working in a member service environment viewed favourably.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and building strong relationships.
- Strong leader and developer of team, values and culture.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Excellent communicator publicly, with stakeholders and written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence in presenting at conferences or as required.
- Ability to travel interstate approximately 5-8 times per year.
- Prior experience in software implementation viewed favourably.
