About the role
TACSI is currently seeking to appoint a Business Manager on a fulltime or 0.8 capacity to coordinate their day-to-day finance and business operations supporting their strategy and mission. This pivotal role within the operations team collaborates closely with Business Leads and team members across Adelaide, Melbourne, and Sydney offices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide proactive strategic business management support and oversight
- Coordinate and lead the day-to-day finance and operations of the organisation, including hands on service and support to key operational staff and leaders
- Lead the End of Month process, engaging with our external finance function, ensuring data, compliance and process
- Actively surface and respond to TACSI’s key risks and compliance obligations
- Support the ongoing improvement of operations including finance processes, Technology
- Systems, ICT Management, office management and WHS
- Champion and actively contribute to an organisational culture that is human, flexible, inclusive and supports the organisation’s ambition
What you will need to succeed
- Ability to manage multiple complex and competing priorities and an eye for both detail and the big picture
- Understand and enjoy creating a positive customer experience and authentic partnerships
- An adaptive leader, strongly motivated with a ‘çan do’ attitude
- Excellent attention to detail, problem solving and analytical skills
- Experience interpreting and analysing data and advising on data-led decisions and business improvements
- Understand how to lead and implement effective change
- Possess financial acumen and experience managing Accounts Payable, Receivable, Payroll and assisting with EOM reports
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role providing cross business support
- Proficiency and confidence with using software systems and a working knowledge of Google Workspace (G Suite) an advantage
- Hold a tertiary qualification in a related discipline eg Business, Administration, Accounting
- Willingness to undertake a DHS Working With Children Clearance
