This role is a permanent full-time position supporting Studio and Independent Productions in ANZ and is based in Sydney at Disney Studios.

Our Australian business covers all elements of Finance and Accounting software plus offering skilled Production Accountants and dedicated Payroll Management. In 2022 EP acquired the long-established Moneypenny Services ANZ and we have gone from strength to strength!
The Role
A background as a Line Producer/Financial Controller/Production Accountant/Production Co-ordinator is relevant for this position. Knowledge of the functional processes of Production Finance and Accounting support will be key to success in this role. 100% of your focus will be on ensuring Producers have a seamless and successful experience of working with our teams including Pre and Post Production, Payroll, and Incentives /Rebates.
This newly created position serves as the Australian Customer Success lead, a role we consider key to successful growth and ensuring Producers experience a seamless creative journey with our support.
You will be responsible for becoming an expert in the EP Australia business taking personal ownership and accountability in navigating clients through the purchase and delivery of EP products and services – with note to how the Australian offering compliments EP’s global suite of flagship solutions. An understanding of the nuances and differences between Australian and US production methodologies will compound your success in this role.
Reporting to the Director of Business Development you will also work closely with our CEO, COO, and Heads of function such as Production Accounting, Post, and Payroll.
Ultimately, this role will increase the ANZ market share by anticipating and delivering excellence to the needs of our Production clients. Longer term this role can develop into Sales or related Team management. Many of our team have worked with us for multiple years and grown great careers aligning with our company's growth.
Ideally, you will have an existing Producer network in Australia and/or US/UK/CAN and understand the Industry landscape. You will need to have a nose for business development opportunities as they present themselves.
This role will have no direct report at this time. We may consider visa sponsorship for the right candidate.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the response to internally referred Studio Production opportunities. They will typically be referred by our Studio sales team in the US or local management contact in Australia
- Coordinate and handhold the onboarding of Clients set up within established delivery times using your knowledge of time-based scheduling through the whole production process.
- Ensure due diligence is performed following onboarding requirements, including coordinating with all product and service divisions (Payroll, Software, Training, Prod Accounting, and Incentives) and other company departments (Audit, Compliance, Finance, Legal, etc.)
- Be a key liaison between clients and users (studio and end user being granted access to the system, and navigating EP resources etc)
- Identify new local opportunities and work to build EP’s Australian reputation as the dominant expert payroll provider.
- Attend and support pitch meetings when required to ensure that our Clients are confident that they will have a dedicated “go to“ person who knows their unique requirements
- You will be responsible for ensuring our internal systems are up to date with the latest information to drive and secure results.
- Build and maintain relationships with Production and Studio executives, working and continuously striving for success with every dialog.
- Track and report all new Production opportunities to the Director of Business Development.
- Ensure those opportunities are regularly monitored and accurate data points are captured.
- Gather needed data, organise, and maintain client-specific details – taking and documenting meeting notes in Salesforce.com, EP’s CRM system of record.
- Manage escalation procedures for assigned tasks/issues, ensuring that all involved parties are informed of an issue’s current status/resolution and guarantee timely follow up.
- Creative client-focused problem-solving skills with a high degree of diplomacy
Your Assets
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or industry/job experience equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook,
- Experience using Salesforce.com or similar CRM preferred
- Minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, in in Film & TV Production, with an eye for client service and process
- Learning agility and action orientation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with client-facing acumen
- Ability to collaborate and work with teams and other departments effectively
- Entertainment industry experience preferred, specifically entertainment Production experience
WORKING CONDITIONS
Hybrid 5-day week. We envisage that during the initial induction and training, there may be a need to be on-site 5 days per week.
There may also be an element of domestic travel in this role.
