As an Account Manager, you'll play a crucial role in building strong relationships with existing customers, managing and bringing to fruition growth opportunities within the sales pipeline. In this full time, remote position, you will report directly to senior management and business owners, and your responsibilities will include:

• Proactively engage in outbound calling initiatives to nurture existing distributor relationships and facilitate order placement, focusing on building rapport and understanding client needs.
• Effectively manage inbound customer inquiries, providing personalized assistance and fostering positive customer experiences.
• Cultivate and maintain long-term client relationships ensuring ongoing client satisfaction and loyalty through proactive communication and support.
• Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge and expertise to address client inquiries and provide tailored solutions, enhancing customer satisfaction and retention.
• Drive personal sales performance by efficiently managing call cycles, order placement and generation of new business to meet and exceed sales targets and organisational KPIs.
• Provide regular updates and reporting to management on sales activities, customer interactions, and market trends, contributing to strategic decision-making and business growth.
• Stay informed about competitor activity, industry trends, and promotional strategies to identify opportunities and enhance sales effectiveness and competitiveness.

About You

You are a self-motivated individual with a strong behavioural orientation for results driven remote work. Our company culture values trust and autonomy, allowing you to choose your own hours, location and work as required to achieve outcomes.

Experience in renewable energy, sustainability, or the circular economy space is highly desirable. Alternatively, you will have a background in customer experience and sales with a demonstrated ability to delight the customer. 

You may currently be working as an account or sales executive, customer success manager, customer service or sales manager.

In addition to the above, to be successful in this role you will have/be: 

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for building strong client relationships
• Proven track record in sales, with the ability to meet and exceed targets
• Strong organisational skills to manage call cycles and client interactions effectively
• Adaptability and resilience to navigate challenges and solve problems
• Autonomous working ability, with a self-motivated and proactive approach
• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of sustainability, or circular economy concepts (desirable)
• Background in customer experience and sales (essential)
