As an Account Manager, you will report to the State Business Manager based in the Welshpool office, Western Australia. You will maximize the sales and profitability of Taubmans by PPG Architectural Coatings products for the assigned territory.
ResponsibilitiesAchieve the sales, profit, and growth targets for trade for assigned territory.
Develop working relationships with important customers.
Develop the customer service proposition to support the brand strategy.
Provide market intelligence/feedback on required new product development and product enhancements.
Implementing specification/sales strategies to achieve both long and short-term goals.
Professional delivery of marketing and promotion activity within the segment.
Delivering professional product/system presentations to trade customers.
Supply tender development, presentation, and management.
Provide product/system specifications.
Grow a portfolio of important accounts.
Perform the role following PPG corporate values.
Successful track record in account management from a similar industry.
Knowledge of the coatings industry.
B2B sales experience within the construction industry is a bonus.
Demonstrate a drive for identifying new opportunities and results and to continually improve your business segment.
Proven understanding of the commercial drivers and changing needs within Western Australia.
High-level negotiation skills.
