How will you contribute?

The Account Manager is responsible for the sales target and growth for ART Renewables customers and new target accounts.

The Account Manager will be assigned a geographical territory within Australia and New Zealand and be accountable for all product supply (and related services) across existing Renewables customers for ART products and solutions. The Account Manager will also have a quarterly target for new renewables accounts (within the assigned GEO and new target account territory).

The Role:

As an Account Manager in the renewables sector at Australian Radio Towers, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales targets, fostering growth, and establishing a strong market presence within the assigned geographical territory encompassing Australia and New Zealand. Your responsibilities will focus on both existing Renewables customers and the acquisition of new target accounts.

You will take ownership of the designated territory, overseeing all aspects of product supply and related services sales for both existing Renewables customers and new target accounts. Your role involves identifying, supporting, developing, forecasting, and closing new opportunities within the assigned territory while understanding and addressing customer pains and challenges with tailored solutions.

Must have:

To succeed in this role, it is essential for you to have:

  • Previous experience working as an Account Manager, Business Development Manager or Client relationship manager, with strong track record of hitting sales and pipeline targets.
  • Strong ability to build rapport with customers by understanding pain and challenges and articulating why your solutions or services could support.
  • Excellent interpersonal/telephone skills and intuition.
  • Confident negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in communication on a technical level and be able to convey solutions with Clients.
  • Understanding of the different industries ART works in and ability to support the process of solutioning, estimating, proposing and quoting.
  • Understanding for Australian Standards and its application within different industries
  • Adequate amount of experience and knowledge in solution selling.

Desired:

  • Experience working in this industry, especially Renewables (Wind, Solar, Battery, Decarb, Energy Transition)
  • Professional Sales Training (MEDDPIC, Solution Selling, Value/Pain based selling)
  • Sold hardware, software or services within the Climate Tech or Renewables tech industry
  • A good understanding of marketing basics
  • Ability to travel interstate to meet with clients
  • Experience in Engineering design or Solutioning in relation to qualifications.
