Accountant

Our client is a boutique law firm who specialise in the thoroughbred and syndicate industry throughout Australia and internationally.   They provide advice and services to leading studmasters, breeders, racehorse owners, trainers and syndicators.   

Due to the recent growth of the micro syndicate schemes our client has new opportunity for an Accountant to join their small team in North Sydney. 

This role is a full-time position that could be filled by 1 person or 2 part-time candidates sharing the responsibilities.  A hybrid role and flexible hours will be considered for the right person. 

We are looking for someone who can prepare quality accounts with the addition of managing a substantial creditor ledger while accounting for over 5,000 transactions per month.  

Requirements: 

• CPA or CA qualified with minimum of 3 years' experience 
• Experience using Xero and MYOB, knowledge of Leap Legal Software would be advantageous 

It is essential that this person is willing to work in a small team and report into the owner of the business.
