Accountant

• $65-$70 per hour
• Tuggerah Location
• Temp to perm opportunity
• Monday to Friday - Monday to Friday 8.00am-4.30pm

We are currently seeking a highly experience Accountant to complete a 6 month temp placement to support a national maintenance business.. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to support all aspects of reporting, forecasting and budgeting with a focus on payroll, monthly reconciliations and stock counts.

The role with consist of the following duties

• Month end journals, prepayments and accruals
• Accounting for payroll transactions
• ATO reporting including BAS / IAS
• Intercompany reconciliations
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Cashflow analysis

Skills and Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce or Business
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including power query
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Logical and analytical thinker
• Self-starter that can network, accomplish tasks and deliver results.
• Demonstrated experience implementing process and system improvements in a similar environment
• Understanding and appreciation of inventory and stock management an advantage
