The Position

Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Prepare journals, reconcile accounts, and prepare accruals for month-end processes
• Compile a production report to determine labour and overhead budget variances
• Perform bank reconciliations monthly and on a regular basis
• Reconcile purchase price variance accounts during and after EOM
• Analyse and identify issues with the underlying data for various PPV accounts
• Assist in the preparation of stock reconciliations monthly
• Support inventory lifecycle management
• Provide support for run and product costing
• Assist in purchasing, disposing, and depreciating fixed assets

The Candidate

As a successful applicant, you will have demonstrated experience in accounting functions and have worked in manufacturing, distribution, or retail. You must also be able to demonstrate the following skills:

• Have or are studying for a CA/CPA qualification
• Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with systems
• Maintain high levels of organisation and workflow management
• Ability to work independently and in a team with a positive attitude
