KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver accounting support and manage financial transactions relating to business operations.
- Assist in formulating budgetary and accounting policies and the reporting process.
- Prepare weekly, monthly and yearly financial /management reports, including P&L Statements, Balance Sheet Statements and Cash Flow Statements on all company’s operations.
- Prepare documents for Business Activity Statements.
- Ensure all accounting activities and reporting comply with statutory laws and requirements.
- Review current trends for expenditures and revenue, followed by making appropriate recommendations to company executives regarding spending, finance control, and budgeting.
- Conduct financial investigations, prepare reports and advise on matters such as businesses structure, capital financing and taxation.
- Examine operating costs and company's income and expenditure.
- Review Accounts Payable/Receivable, includes processing invoices, payments, producing statement of accounts, collections on overdue accounts and account reconciliation when required.
- Provide assurance about the accuracy of information contained in financial reports and their compliance with statutory requirements.
- Assistant for preparing taxation returns for the company.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external).
- Maintain internal control systems.
- Ensure accounting treatments meet accounting standards whilst achieving optimal results.
- Prepare ad-hoc documents and reports for internal and external stakeholders for Accounting and Finance matters.
- Handle queries from executives on all aspects of the accounting function.
KEY DESIRABLE SKILLS
- A bachelor degree or higher qualification in relevant field of study.
- Minimum three years of post-qualification accounting experience.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- A keen eye for detail and ability to follow processes.
- Ability to work to deadlines with good prioritisation and time management skills.
- Experience of working in a cross-cultural environment.
- Multi-lingual skills are preferred.
