Head of Finance and Procurement for a State Government body

Your new company 
This role is with a Victorian State Government - Statutory Authority responsible for controlling and regulating gambling activities for a term of 3-6 months. 
Your new role 
This position is responsible for ensuring the appropriate and timely delivery of relevant services to ensure the organisation's financial sustainability. This includes - 

• The design and delivery of statutory reporting, fleet and Procurement services
• Providing strategic advice and reporting to the board, executive leadership team and Finance and Procurement teams
• Monitoring and complying with all relevant policies, controls and legislation within the industry
• Development, monitoring and reporting of the budget, cash flow, profit and loss, expenses and controls
• Exercising the accountabilities of the Chief Financial Officer (including signing of annual account) 

What you'll need to succeed 

• Relevant Tertiary Qualification
  
• CPA/CA Qualified
  
• 8+ Years experience in a relevant position/s
  
• Knowledge of accounting, fleet and Procurement activities
  
• Demonstrated team leadership experience
