Due to continued growth, the company is seeking an experienced National Commercial Manager to join their dynamic team in this newly created position. This role focuses on expanding the client base, company cost reduction, and optimising carrier relationships while working closely with the national BDM team to achieve financial goals.

Role Responsibilities
- Prospect for new clients and identify decision makers for new business bids.
- Collaborate with BDMs to grow the client base and engage potential clients.
- Identify and negotiate optimal rates and services with new carriers.
- Support the team in resolving issues and provide data and pricing analysis.
- Promote interstate products during client visits and assist with tenders and proposals.
- Generate KPI reports, review with key customers, and create promotional materials.
- Maintain accurate notes in the system and CRM; manage enquiries professionally.
- Lead direct reports; conduct performance reviews, coaching, and mentoring.
- Participate in training and development; achieve set KPIs.
Qualifications & Experience
- 2+ years’ experience in Transport Sales essential
- Proven track record of generating min $500K revenue annually for consecutive years.
- A background in Transport Brokerage or long-term account management desirable
- Relevant industry tertiary qualifications desired but not essential
