Clayfield College is seeking a dedicated and detail orientated Accountant to join our Finance Team. In this role, you will provide high – quality accounting support to help deliver College’s strategic goals. The Finance team plays a crucial role in managing the College’s financial sustainability through effective oversight of budget, payment, receipts, fees, payroll and accounting.
Key aspects of the role:
- Debtors Management – Provide hands on debtor’s management and reporting, including liaising with parents and legal advisors, offering transaction support as required
- Month end process – prepare month end work papers and reconciliations.
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly financial accounts
- Budget variance analysis
- Annual forecasting
- Maintain the Colleges fixed asset register and capital expenditure process.
- Prepare relevant statutory reports and returns such as FBT, GST/BAS
- Government reporting – support with relevant State and Federal Government reporting
About you:
- 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Relevant tertiary qualification – qualified CPA or near completion advantageous
