As an Accountant for St John WA you will report into the Finance Manager – Community and be responsible for payment processing, preparation of reconciliations and other accounting tasks. You will ensure the organisation complies with all Accounting Standards and Taxation requirements (FBT and GST).
You will join a collaborative and hard-working team based in the Belmont State Office, and flexible working arrangements are available. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity working 8.30am – 4.30pm Monday through to Friday.
What you’ll do:
- Process Doctors and Dentists Payments
- Manage bank reconciliations for St John Health, including following up with Business Managers and Dental Managers when required
- Prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Prepare FBT and BAS
- Month end journals
- Assisting with Budgeting and Forecasting
What you’ll need:
- 3+ years in a similar role
- Accounting/Commerce/Business Degree
- Bank Reconciliations knowledge
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations knowledge
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to self-manage and prioritise tasks
- Ahigh level of attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and established data entry skills
- CA/CPA part or fully qualified (desirable)
