Accountant

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Accountant to help drive this exciting business forward by assisting the General Manager in providing timely and accurate reports.

We provide various ICT services across Western Australia with offices in Perth and Geraldton.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong focus on attention to detail and have excellent interpersonal and time management skills to work alongside our driven and passionate team.

Roles and responsibilities

• Responsible for the monthly reconciliation of Balance sheet accounts
• Month-end reporting and analysis on time
• Liaise with the outsourced labour to ensure creditor invoices and bank feeds are being treated correctly
• Responsible for the general ledger/ accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Managing the Accounts email inbox with timely and professional communication
• Data analysis and report writing
• Assistance with the annual budgeting process
• Cash flow forecasting
• Preparation of monthly/ quarterly and annual regulatory reporting
• Payroll and payroll-related duties as required
• Other general ad-hoc administration

Skills and Attributes

• Must hold a recognised accounting qualification (CA/CPA/CIMA/ACCA)
• Working knowledge of accounting systems essential (MYOB desirable)
• Advanced Excel skills essential
• Experience in month-end reporting cycles and ad hoc reporting essential
• Previous experience in a Technology environment is desirable
• Knowledge of Connectwise would be of advantage but not essential
• Excellent administration and people skills
• Stock management experience is desirable
• Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high-quality work
• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
• Mature, credible and reliable
