About the role
Mondiaux has an exciting full-time opportunity for an Accountant to join our team. This is a broad, hands-on role and you will be responsible for:
- Compile comprehensive financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Analyse financial data to generate reports on performance, trends, and variances.
- Ensure adherence to accounting principles, standards, and regulatory requirements; identify and implement process enhancements.
- Process payroll accurately and punctually, including the timely submission of associated reports.
- Monitoring and assess the efficiency and productivity of financial operations
- Providing financial and accounting advice on business structures, plans and operations
- Handle the preparation and submission of BAS, PAYG, Payroll Tax, and other relevant financial documents.
As an ideal candidate for this position:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance;
- At least three years of work experience in accounting positions within medium to large-sized companies.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping and analysis
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Advanced interpersonal abilities, demonstrating a track record of fostering strong connections and effectively communicating with a wide array of individuals, both internally and externally.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills with a strong aptitude for meeting deadlines.
- Preference will be given to bilingual speakers proficient in Mandarin and English.
