About Us
Cannon Hill Anglican College is a progressive, co-educational, independent school that caters for around 1350 Prep to Year 12 students, with a team of over 200 dedicated staff. The College is located in a peaceful and beautiful parkland environment on the border of Morningside and Cannon Hill, in Brisbane’s thriving Inner East, with on-site parking and easy access to public transport, ten minutes to the CBD.
The Role
The successful candidate will work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the College's finance function to implement and monitor financial plans, policies, objectives and strategies for the effective management of the College’s financial resources. This position encompasses payroll, accounts payable management and financial accounting and reporting responsibilities to support the core business of the College.
This role is a permanent position and is available on a full-time basis.
Information for Potential Candidates
To be successful in this role, candidates must hold tertiary level Business or Accounting qualifications and be able to demonstrate:
- Proven financial accounting experience in a medium sized business.
- High level organisational and time management skills including the ability to manage and prioritise numerous competing demands and tasks as well as the flexibility to change priorities when required.
- Advanced ICT skills, with an ability to integrate new technologies into work practices.
