Our Opportunity

With continued growth and development of the business, a need has arisen to bolster the finance and administration team with the addition of an accountant to support the Financial Controller and management team.

The size and nature of the business will require the person to be flexible and undertake a broad range of tasks and responsibilities. With the right candidate this role could develop and grow with the business.

An example of what you will be working on: 

• External invoicing for plant hire business
• Intercompany invoicing & reconciliations 
• Assist with external invoicing of dayworks contracts
• BAS preparation 
• ATO accounts reconciliation (PAYG, GST, Income Tax)
• Preparation of payroll tax returns for WA
• Assist with cashflow and weekly cash planning
• Assist with development and documentation of procedures
• Assist with budgeting and planning process
• Assist with month end and ad hoc reporting
• Payroll assistance

Desired qualifications, skills and experience

• Qualification in accounting or related discipline
• Completed or working towards CPA/CA or equivalent.
• Capable with use of MS office Suite, particularly Excel
• Ability to work methodical and accurately to ensure consistency.
• 2 – 3 years relevant work experience, with some local experiences preferred
• Must have full working rights in Australia
