Business Analysts with different levels of experience who can clearly document and articulate requirements and assist the stakeholder in understanding technical barriers.Our Agile
Business Analysts are all about ensuring what we build is valuable by analysing for gaps and impact and making product owner decisions more efficient. Their work is crucial to our agile value driven mission by recognising and protecting value throughout the delivery life cycle.Their responsibilities are very broad and include:
- Working as part of an agile team, managing the relationship with and between stakeholders, managing the backlog refinement and engaging with users and business to identify gaps and needs.
- Supporting product owners in value driven decision making and priority making
- Investigating and documenting business and customer requirements
- Collaborating with developers and subject matter experts
- Participating in and facilitating relevant Agile ceremonies and rituals as needed: Backlog Refinement, Daily Stand-up, Showcases/Sprint Review
- Having input into change management or business impact assessments, assists in operational roll out and support
- Looking to improve business processes and support strategic decision making across both Racing and Wagering portfolios
- Defining and preparing business cases, project proposals and lean canvases
- Working closely with the Agile Capability Group to establish and support Ways of Working and RWWA's Agile delivery model
QualificationsAbout YouWe are looking for someone with:
- A formal certification as Agile Business Analyst
- Previous experience in agile analysis and facilitating dialogue about customer value with the teams around epics, user stories, story decomposition, backlog refinement, elaboration, story mapping, prioritisation techniques
- Strong facilitation skills in requirement gathering workshops and design thinking workshops
- Experience in writing user stories, business-driven acceptance criteria test cases, process maps, flow diagram and use cases
- Experience working with UX and UI teams or ability to produce design assets such as wireframes, mock-ups
- Experience in the delivery of any mobile, app and web projects
- Excellent communication skills, an eagerness to work collaboratively
