We are seeking a self-motivated, result-focused professional who will join HEWA on a growth pathway. As an Accountant at Heat Exchangers WA (HEWA), you will play a pivotal role in our financial management and reporting.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Completion of all month-end activities including journals, reconciliations, accrual, balance sheet reconciliations and reporting
- Preparing weekly cashflow
- Providing accounting and financial information to support business analysis and forecast modelling to drive business results
- Assisting with the preparation of BAS, FBT, Payroll Tax, SCG and other tax reports
- Facilitating and coordinating the preparation of annual budgets
- Payroll processing, including review timesheets
- Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation
- Inventory control, including the participation of stocktake when required
- Assist with raising customer’s invoices and debt collection
- Job costing and managing work-in-progress account
The Right Candidate
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role and previously working in an SME environment
- Tertiary qualification in Business/Commerce/Accounting or equivalent degree
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) essential
- Experience with MYOB EXO, ERP, and Advanced Reporting will be highly regarded.
- Advanced Excel skills and a high level of numerical and analytical skills are essential.

Remuneration
