We are seeking a self-motivated, result-focused professional who will join HEWA on a growth pathway. As an Accountant at Heat Exchangers WA (HEWA), you will play a pivotal role in our financial management and reporting. 

Your Key Responsibilities

• Completion of all month-end activities including journals, reconciliations, accrual, balance sheet reconciliations and reporting
• Preparing weekly cashflow 
• Providing accounting and financial information to support business analysis and forecast modelling to drive business results
• Assisting with the preparation of BAS, FBT, Payroll Tax, SCG and other tax reports
• Facilitating and coordinating the preparation of annual budgets
• Payroll processing, including review timesheets 
• Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation 
• Inventory control, including the participation of stocktake when required
• Assist with raising customer’s invoices and debt collection 
• Job costing and managing work-in-progress account

The Right Candidate

• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role and previously working in an SME environment
• Tertiary qualification in Business/Commerce/Accounting or equivalent degree
• Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) essential 
• Experience with MYOB EXO, ERP, and Advanced Reporting will be highly regarded.
• Advanced Excel skills and a high level of numerical and analytical skills are essential.

• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Remuneration 

An attractive remuneration package will be negotiated with the right candidate, including a solid salary, superannuation, KPI bonus scheme, annual leave loading, and staff benefits: onsite parking and staff uniforms.
