Accountant

Accountant | Brisbane CBD Office | Permanent Job Role | 9 and a half day fortnight! Every second Friday afternoon OFF! | c. $80,000 - $90,000+ Super (negotiable based on experience)
Are you looking to join a small social finance team where you can feel part of the team and wider business and where, importantly, you're more than just a number!
This is a super accountant role, site based in the vibrant CBD office and reporting to the senior accountant/CFO. You will be responsible for:

• Recording accounting transactions, completing month end and annual reporting, and building relationships across the business
• Preparing management accounts, and annual consolidated financial statements and project reports
• Completing monthly BAS for group entities and assisting with FBT
• Completing bank reconciliations
• Completing intercompany reconciliations

The ideal person for this role will be a real team player, who has a strong understanding of accounting principles and tax/statutory obligations. Strong IT skills including Excel are essential and it would be preferable if the person undertaking this role has an understanding of construction and property, but this is not essential.
