Hawksworth have partnered with a major Financial to on-board an experience Accountant. This is a 4 month contract based in Melbourne.
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant with a CPA designation and a background in one of the Big 4 accounting firms. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
What you need to have:
• 3 - 5 years of relevant accounting experience, including at least 2 years with one of the Big 4 accounting firms (Deloitte, PwC, Ernst & Young, KPMG).
• Bachelor of Accounting / Finance degree
• CA / CPA part-qualified preferred
• Strong technical knowledge
• Good interpersonal, written and communication skills
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with people at all levels
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize conflicting tasks and responsibilities
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Strong Excel, Word and Outlook skills
• Experience with Oracle & OneSource Accounts Production is advantageous
• Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information
• Motivated self-starter focused on achieving results
• Strong attention to detail
