Accountant - Public Practice

Qualifications & experience

• Experience within a similar role in an Australian Public Practice Firm. 
• Be a CA/CPA Qualified (or part completed).
• Have practical experience with CGT, Div-7A, and more.
• Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks experience.
• Sage HandiTax and HandiLedger experience (preferred).

Tasks & responsibilities

• Working on a diverse portfolio of clients.
• Preparation of financial statements, income tax returns & BAS’s for a variety of entities. 
• FBT returns
• BAS/IAS returns
• Tax planning.
• Assisting clients with ad-hoc taxation enquiries. 
• Audit & Assurance services (preferred but not necessary).
• SMSF experience (preferred)
• Liaising with the ATO and other government agencies as required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• The ability to multi-task, work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong dedication to teamwork.
• Other related matters as they arise.
