Qualifications & experience
- Experience within a similar role in an Australian Public Practice Firm.
- Be a CA/CPA Qualified (or part completed).
- Have practical experience with CGT, Div-7A, and more.
- Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks experience.
- Sage HandiTax and HandiLedger experience (preferred).
Tasks & responsibilities
- Working on a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Preparation of financial statements, income tax returns & BAS’s for a variety of entities.
- FBT returns
- BAS/IAS returns
- Tax planning.
- Assisting clients with ad-hoc taxation enquiries.
- Audit & Assurance services (preferred but not necessary).
- SMSF experience (preferred)
- Liaising with the ATO and other government agencies as required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- The ability to multi-task, work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong dedication to teamwork.
- Other related matters as they arise.
