- Providing comprehensive financial statements and in-depth business insight for clients including companies, partnerships, sole traders and trusts.
- Preparation of individual, business and SMSF tax returns
- Developing monthly, quarterly and year end journals
- Preparation of cash flow forecast, other budgeting and business performance reports
- Liaising with ATO/ASIC on behalf of clients for audits and general matters
- Assistance with preparation and completion of audit reports for non-for-profit organisation and real-estate trust accounts
- Assistance with internal financial report preparation
- Reconciliation of general ledger and other accounts for internal month end reportingAcademic or trade qualifications
- Degree level or higher qualification in accounting
- minimum 2 years' experience working in a professional practice/office
- Willingness to complete CA/CPA/IPA qualificationsWork experience and skills
- Proficient with Xero, Intuit, BGL and various cloud-based accounting software
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft excel and word
- Attention to detail and ability to manage a number of jobs simultaneously
