Australian Ecosystems are a market-leading landscape construction and maintenance business that creates award winning public open spaces including wetlands, sustainable communities and undertakes ecological restoration projects. The business also owns and operates a state-of-the art nursery that grows several million native plants per annum.

Due to our growing portfolio of commercial and natural resource projects, our high-performing Group finance team based in Port Melbourne is growing and we will be welcoming an Accountant to the team. 

We are seeking a finance all-rounder whose primary responsibilities will include payroll, accounts payable and bank reconciliations. This is a hands-on role that will also have exposure to financial transformation (ERP implementation is underway) and the opportunity to move into other areas of the finance function.  

Reporting directly to the Group Chief Financial Officer a key component of success in the role will be efficiency through leveraging technology to their advantage, a positive “can-do” attitude and strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

About you

• Qualified or part-qualified with 2 years + demonstrated experience preferably in the commercial space.
• The ability to thrive in a fast and dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Competent in Microsoft Excel.
