The Role
The role is to support the local Finance Director.
- Assisting with the financial reporting for APAC offices.
- Working with client services to forecast expected revenue from client jobs & projects.
- Assisting with the annual budgeting process.
- Month-end close tasks, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals.
- WIP and jobs reconciliations.
- IAS, BAS, FBT and Super lodgement and compliance.
- Assist with Accounts Payable & receivable.
- If the role is full-time, then you will be helping out with some more of the administrative tasks in the office.
Your Background
The ideal candidate for this Accountant role is someone who;
- Is an energetic, enthusiastic Accountant who has assisted with financial reporting and month-end tasks.
- Has worked in advertising, media, design or some other creative industry is the preference.
- We can look at a profile from an Assistant Accountant to a qualified Accountant, as long as you have good month-end experience (journals, prepayments, accruals etc.)
- Excellent communication & great interpersonal skills are an absolute must.
