To be successful in this role you will have prior accounting experience, excellent verbal and written skills, be self-motivated, committed and resourceful, highly organised and committed to meeting deadlines, ability to work autonomously when required, strong attention to detail and be highly experienced with MYOB and Excel.
Core Responsibilities
- Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting.
- Invoice processing & approval
- Assistance with supplier reconciliations
- Supplier liaison – invoice / credits / statements - ensuring accuracy of financial data.
- Timely preparation and presentation of the monthly financial results
- Reconciliation and lodgement of all tax returns on a timely basis including BAS, & payroll tax
- Assisting with Payroll
- Problem-solving capabilities
- Other Admin duties as required
Key Competencies:
- High competency in Excel
- High competency in MYOB
- Strong analytical skills & attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills – a team player willing to assist the overall business goals
- Must have a strong work ethic, self-starter and ability to work with minimal supervision
