This role will support our financial operations by assisting the team in the preparation of financial statements, maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, & providing timely & accurate financial information to management. You will assist the financial controller with budgeting, forecasting & variance analysis, as well as support the team with audits & compliance activities. You will play a critical role in helping the organisation make informed decisions & achieve its financial goals.
What you will be doing!
- Management of the automated invoice software (Lightyear), ensuring accurate coding & timely payment of invoices
- Entry & payment of monthly rental invoices
- Monthly reconciliations of supplier statements
- Assist with the preparation of the month -end management accounts
- Assist with the preparation of budgets
- Assist with compliance reporting
- Complete daily bank & account reconciliations
- Assist stores with daily balancing and till variances

Who are you?
- Tertiary education in finance & accounting, studying towards, CA/CPA qualifications
- Experience with a strong omni- channel retailer preferred
- 2 years experience in a similar position
- Attention to detail
- Commercial Awareness
- High level analytical skills
- Tenacity, resilience & the ability to learn & adapt to new concepts & ways of working.
