AddressEquals Three, a long-established accounting and business advisory practice have been helping our clients for 20+ years with controlling their super through self-managed superannuation.
We are looking for a Self-Managed Super Fund Accountant to join the firm, responsibilities include:
- Preparation of SMSF activity statements, financial statements, annual returns & supporting workpapers
- Liaising with clients, assisting pension compliance, tax issues & reporting
- Liaising with external entities such as ATO, ASIC & Auditors
- Assist with managing the workflow and communicate with management on a frequent basis on key matters
- Identifying and discussing potential SIS and tax compliance opportunities and issues
- Meeting lodgement and reporting deadlines
This role is part of a team which specialises in looking after Equals Three SMSF clients and will also have the opportunity to work on the firm business advancement projects and internal committees. To be successful in this position you will need:
- 4 plus years’ experience in SMSF Accounting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills within a team environment and with clients
- Accounting qualifications
- Demonstrated time management and organisational skills
- High attention to detail and level of accuracy
- Experience using software such as all Microsoft Office applications and Class, My workpapers and Now infinity is an advantage
