Auricht Chartered Accountants have been established for 20+ years, with a stable support team.

They provide a comprehensive range of services including taxation, accounting, business consulting, bookkeeping, as well as specialised expertise in SMSF, tax and accounting.

Their clients are based locally and regionally and range from individuals to small and medium businesses including wine, agriculture, tourism, construction, professional services.

What you will be doing and will be responsible for:
The firm is a metropolitan and regionally based accounting and business services firm.  We are seeking an experienced and dedicated qualified Accountant to join their professional staff on a full-time basis with the potential of becoming a partner/equity holder.  The role involves regional travel, and there is an option for relocation to a regional location if you're interested.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct consultation with a broad range of individual, primary producers and small business clients
• Provide tailored accounting and taxation advice, specific to each client’s circumstances
• Preparation of financial statements and taxation returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts, and SMSFs

 ‘What you look like’ and need to demonstrate to be successful’.

• Minimum of five years’ experience in public accounting
• Proficiency in various accounting software packages (Xero, MYOB, Reckon, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of Income Tax Law, CGT, GST, Payroll, and Superannuation
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify discrepancies
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues
