The organisations head office is located in the northern suburbs of Melbourne.
An experienced hands-on Accountant / financial controller is required to join our team. The successful candidate will manage the company’s accounting and bookkeeping functions, which include:
- Bookkeeping and Accounting
- Experience in using Templa, Dimensions and HR3 will be highly regarded although not essential and training will be provided
- Management of all financial matters
- Issuing Monthly Customer invoices and collection of funds
- Entering payables and attending to payment of creditors
- Bank reconciliation
- Overseeing payroll and all payroll functions
- Lodgement of monthly Payroll tax returns
- Dealing with Workcover remuneration and other queries
- Overseeing monthly uploading of superannuation via the clearing house
- Prepare and lodge monthly instalment activity statements
- Prepare and lodge quarterly activity statements
- Prepare accurate cashflow forecasts and budgets
- Prepare monthly / quarterly management reports
- General administrative duties as required
- Review and preparation of financial accounts to trial balance.
- Production of Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet for external accountants for preparation of statutory obligations.
- Provision of bank documentation as deemed necessary.
- Legal compliance and liaison with external solicitors regarding matters inclusive of assistance with and coordination of the preparation of legal documents.
- External reporting and liaison with external accountants.
The successful candidate will be degree qualified, dynamic and have previous experience with accounting packages, Word, and Excel.
You will be reporting and working closely with the Managing director where you can make this position your own and you will also be co-working with the external accountant.
A salary range between $100,000 to $130,000 plus super is on offer to the right candidate.
