Some might even say it feels like being “right at home”.Reporting into the Group Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, the Planning and Financial Performance Manager is responsible in providing credible financial Planning and analysis for the group, including the development of budgets and forecasts; ensuring the end result is an accurate reflection, and is aligned with company strategic directions.
- Senior opportunity in our Planning & Reporting Finance Team
- Lead a number of progressive projects across the business
- Flexible hybrid working - centrally-located Docklands office &
- Management of annual budget and quarterly forecast processes, including establishment of key data, assumptions, analysis and reporting of outcomes; expected to lead the key processes and actively influence the achievement of planned growth and profitability objectives
- Deliver credible financial Planning and analysis for the group, encompassing the Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow
- Liaise with Commercial Finance teams to understand opportunities and risks to budget/forecast and contribute to corrective recommendations
- Creating and reviewing KPIs, ensuring the right metrics are being used and adhered to; data accuracy and consistency
- Scenario modelling, including the maintenance of 3 way predictive model
- Review processes to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness, with the aim of continuous improvement
- Identify and implement initiatives targeted at financial processes improvement and the implementation of changes to achieve efficiencies, including the centralisation of reporting/reporting centre of excellence
- Seasoned experience in a similar position, preferably within a large complex organisation/environment
- Experience managing a small team is a plus
- Experience with ERP systems
- You are a big picture, strategic thinker, with the ability to 'tell the story'
- Advanced financial analytical and reporting skills
- Proficient Excel knowledge and skills
- Ability to build positive working relationships and connect with stakeholders on all levels
