This is an exceptional opportunity for an Accounting Executiveto join a vibrant CBD-based recruitment business. Anton Murray Consulting is a financial services recruitment firm based in Sydney CBD. We are seeking an Accounting Executive to join our team on a full-time basis.

This role will report directly to the CFO and work closely with him, and in support of the Sydney recruitment team. The scope of the role will be determined by the successful candidate.
Duties:
Include but are not limited to:
Statutory Reporting & Taxation
- Statutory Reporting: Assist the CFO with preparation of year- end Statutory reporting.
- Review, analysis and interpretation of information contained in management and financial accounting reports and their compliance with statutory requirements
- Taxation: Assist the CFO with year-end Income Tax, monthly BAS, quarterly GST and FBT and monthly PAYG returns.
Business Analysis
- Revenue reporting: Provide weekly revenue report to the CFO and Director
- Income reporting and analysis: Cross check to cash inflows, finalization of quarterly gross profit for commission purposes.
- Cashflow Analysis: Monthly cash flow reporting and management
- Xemplo timesheet system development: Liaison with software developers for development and upgrade of the system.
- Customer Profitability Analysis: Build and maintain customer margin reporting, for Executive review and pricing purposes.
- Monthly management reporting: examination of income, operating costs and expenses.
Systems Implementation, maintenance and enhancement
- Xero Australia System maintenance: Maintenance of the Xero ERP system
- Internal Control Systems: Maintain internal control systems for AMC – Australia & AMC -Singapore.
Essential Skills:
- 2+ years prior experience in an accounts or accounting role
- Tertiary education in Accounting, Commerce or Business, and working towards ACA or CPA
- Experience using Xero would be highly regarded
- Strong attention to detail
- Well-presented, well-spoken and articulate as you will have some client interaction in support of the team
- Strong communication skills, particularly over email
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite – particularly Excel
